Counter, tablet, handheld, kiosk and kitchen display: a plain-English guide to choosing the right Trackory hardware for the way you serve.

The Trackory hardware guide 2026: choosing devices for your operation

The right hardware makes service faster and mistakes rarer. The wrong hardware gets in the way every shift. This guide walks through the Trackory hardware range by role, so you can match the device to the way you actually serve.

Every device runs the full Trackory platform: EPOS, payments, stock and reporting from one place. Trackory is more than EPOS, and the hardware is built to match.

Counter POS: the busiest device you own

Our recommended counter setup is the Swan 2 with a built-in printer. It has a 15.6 inch Full HD touchscreen and NFC on every printer model, and suits most cafés, shops and takeaways. You can add a customer-facing display, choose a 58mm or 80mm printer, or step up to the Swan range's more powerful models if you need them.

Tablet POS: service at the table or on the move

The Falcon 2 is a 10.95 inch tablet with NFC on every model, in Wi-Fi versions for the counter and 4G versions for mobile service. Add a protective case, payment case or desk dock to suit where it will be used. For larger menus, the Falcon 2 Max has a 12.6 inch display.

Handheld POS: food trucks, vans, routes and events

The Lark 1 is a 6.5 inch handheld with 4G LTE, NFC and a built-in barcode scanner as standard, and a 5,000mAh battery for a long shift. Chargers, a trigger handle, a protective case and a hand strap are available. It is built for queue-busting, food trucks, vans, route sales and events.

Self-serve kiosks: shorter queues, freer teams

The Heron 1 mini has a 15.6 inch Full HD screen and a built-in 80mm printer, and can sit on a countertop, a floor stand or a wall mount. The larger Heron 1 has a 23.8 inch screen. Both include NFC.

Kitchen display: keep the pass in sync

The Penguin 1 series comes in 15.6 inch and 21.5 inch sizes, with a PoE option for clean cabling. Kitchen displays integrate with the Trackory platform for real-time order routing. Availability is on request, so speak to the team about timing.

The peripherals that complete the setup

A receipt printer, barcode scanner and cash drawer finish most setups. Our picks are the HPRT POS80H 80mm thermal printer, the Tera 9700 desktop scanner and a standard lockable cash drawer, with compact and flip-top drawers also available.

NFC models can be used as payment devices or for tap to pay, subject to provider and hardware approval.

Not sure what you need?
